Financial apps typically cram every feature onto the screen, assuming more data means more value. But most people don't want to become financial analysts — they want to know where their money went, what's coming up, and whether they're on track. The challenge was designing an experience that integrates complex financial functions — budgeting, credit monitoring, identity protection, savings tracking — while keeping the interface approachable enough that users actually open the app regularly.

We designed a clean, intuitive mobile experience that surfaces the three things that matter most — spending, upcoming expenses, and progress toward goals. The dashboard prioritizes actionable insights over raw data. Guided user flows walk people through complex tasks like setting up identity protection or reviewing their credit score. A consistent visual system and modular design ensure the app feels cohesive today while allowing for future expansion without redesigning the foundation.

User testing showed the interface was significantly less overwhelming than competing financial apps. Participants found complex features like credit monitoring intuitive to navigate on the first try. The client praised the modular design system, which positioned the app for future growth without requiring a redesign. The design was well-received and moved into development.
